I was swimming at Plage du Midi, just a few minutes away from the Croisette. When I stepped out of the water, something felt different.

The Palm Bus was there — not where it usually is — but parked right in front of the Canopy by Hilton Cannes.

For a brief moment, everything aligned. The palms. The colors. The movement of the city slowing just enough to be seen.

It felt like a scene — not something staged, but something offered.

I knew it wouldn’t happen again. So I took the shot.
